Paraffin Wax
Paraffin is the most commonly used type of wax. It provides a slow, steady, smokeless burn and creates vibrant colors. The small, uniform wax pastilles ensure that you can precisely control the amount of wax you need, reducing waste and making the entire candle-making process quicker and more efficient.

Characteristics:
- Consistency: Hard
- Appearance: White and Translucent
- Best Uses: Container Candles and Molds
- Long and clean burn
- Creates vibrant colors
- Versatile wax
- Requires no additional additives (other than fragrance and dyes)
Application Guidelines:
- Melt wax slowly using a double boiler
- Pour wax at 170°F – 189°F after removing from heat
- Add up to 6% fragrance at 180°F – 190°F
- For wick recommendations, refer to our wick guide
- These are suggested ranges based on our in-house testing; always test first for best results.
- If you add more than 5% fragrance, the wax will create a mottled effect.

To increase fragrance capacity and prevent mottling add a polymer additive, micro wax, or bees wax.

For optimal results, this wax can be blended with soy wax in a 50/50 ratio.
Safety Guidelines:
- Do not leave hot wax unattended.
- Never add water to wax.
- Have a Class B extinguisher (foam, CO₂, or dry chemical) within reach when handling hot wax.
