The HTP series is designed to provide the benefits of a self-trimming wick
posture with rigidity approaching those found in cored wicks. High performance fibers, along with other natural materials are engineered
into a specially constructed braid, producing a more predictable wick
posture. HTP wick is especially well-suited for tough-to-burn formulations
that contain many additives. It is also an excellent choice for paraffin,
vegetable and gel candle systems.
See Rate Charts - This has been tested in Paraffin (as most testing of wicks is done). However, this self trimming wick will work great with Soy / Coconut or natural waxes as well--works best in 2.5 to 3 inch diameter containers with up to 10% fragrance load.
Will work great also in pillar candles (3 to 4 inch diameter), and works great in paraffin container candles (3 to 3.5 inch diameter) with up to 8% fragrance load.
Paraffin tends to burn a bit hotter than Vegetable waxes.
